LREC sits on 4 very well laid out acres in the "Avilla" community, just outside South West Pulaski County.  We have an outdoor lighted arena (80'x125'), a small lighted indoor riding area, an 11 stall barn, indoor wash rack, air conditioned & heated office/lounge with refigerator & microwave, spacious tack room, one pasture, four paddocks, and access to trails. 

LREC also houses Arete Equestrian Equipment's tack shop.  Arete carries consignment English and Western saddles, Nurtural bitless bridles, Smooth Stride riding pants, specialized saddle pads (Skito, ThinLine, Supracor), and other tack extras.  See the web site for a current inventory.  Saddle fitting services, fast special orders, and custom orders are available.

Boarding

A limited number of boardered horses will be accepted beginning March 1st, 2010.  Boarded horses will have a private paddock (or shared paddock if you have 2 horses), a stall, and space in our tack room.  Our horses are normally only stalled for feeding time and during very bad weather (heavy sleet or freezing rain).  Board is $325 a month for this type of boarding.  We are willing to accomodate horses that need to be stalled 12 hours a day (night in winter, day in summer), but there is an extra charge for cost of shavings and extra stall cleaning, $375 a month.  All  board includes hay, feed, feeding your supplements, and blanketing during the winter (if needed).

We also offer share-boarding for horses that can be in our lesson program or leased by one of our students.  Please contact us if you're interested in this type of boarding.

We have an on-site saddle fitter, hoof trimmer (no shoes), and instructor.  We welcome outside trainers for our boarders.
